Hello,
I am about to place my first hitchhiker.
Is there standard verbiage suggested for inclusion in the box? Or is
the stamp and logbook sufficient (along with contact information,
date and location of placement).
In other words, do I need to explain letterboxing and hitchhikers, or
do we assume that a finder who locates the HH with another box will
know what it's all about.
Thanks for any advice.

You need to mention in both the logbook and on whatever it is in
(e.g. ziploc bag) that it is a HH, so that it is not confused with the
innards of a box it lands in (where this stuff may not be labelled)
Cheers
